Alumina ceramic part is produced by firing a tightly packed powder form of Al2O3 which includes some binder material. Commercially available grades range from 90% up to 99.95% with the higher purity generating somewhat higher hardness. Alumina Ceramics are the most highly regarded and widely used of the ceramic products. It is non-conductive, resistant to corrosion, and are perfect for electrical insulation. Alumina Ceramic has proven to be the best ceramic for protection of vital electrical components. It can be processed as tubing, sheets, bars, rods, discs, and many other forms depending on the requirements of the project.
Alumina Ceramic Insulating Disc
This custom alumina ceramic heat insulation plate is sintered at high temperature and processed by precision CNC machining. It can maintain stable physical and insulating properties under continuous high-temperature working environments.
The alumina plate serves dual functions: heat barrier to block heat transfer and electrical isolation to prevent short circuit. We can fabricate irregular shapes, multiple mounting holes, large central bore and special slotted cutouts as required by customers. Strict flatness and dimensional tolerance are guaranteed.
Typical applications include industrial furnaces, vacuum systems, plasma processing equipment, high-temperature test fixtures and power insulating assemblies. Custom samples are available for performance verification before mass production.
